Why I hate politics?
I have been asked by some people to join political parties and make myself loyal to certain group of people, so that I can so-called share my ideas. But till now, I am almost certain I will never join any political parties, and now I am very certain. No matter it is BN or PR, I don't think I will want to join any one of them. I rather stay free as an observer and share my critics here in my blog and with my friends, and make myself a good citizen. hmmm....maybe not that good.
The recent disputes, between the government and the opposition, or within parties (ahhem...like UMNO) shuold give us, the good Malaysians, a clear picture who our group of MPs is and how ugly politics can be.
Instead of moving Malaysia forward, all of them (and I mean all of them) have destabilize our country. The biggest contributor, of course, would be the internal UMNO conflicts (or has it become external as our beloved Tun Dr. Mahathir quitted?). Being the so-called representative of the major ethnic group, and a party who has leads us all to development for the past 50 years, the leadership has now been questioned, by all ethnic groups including the Malays. Please do not give the reason that the Chinese and Indian have become more demanding. They have always been demanding since many many years ago, and even during Tun Mahathir's period as Prime Minister, they have demanded a lot of things, but why they have become more and more demanding now? SImple reason: Tun Mahathir is one a great leader who has in his way, brought us development and good life. Penang Bridge, Proton, KLCC, Sepang circuit, has all opened up a new dimension to Malaysia.
UMNO has weakened as their internal conflicts have become a little uncontrolable. The dispute published in all media has not been favourable to the political stability in Malaysia. And we all know that if this continues, there goes our economy and foreign investments.
And the Opposition is not doing much either.
Their agenda is to form the federal government. But the strategy they are using is not helping Malaysia now either. Keeping mum on certain issues and then stick a knife into certain issues are not the way to help Malaysia poltical scene. If they are clever, come up with solutions now, and the Malaysians will vote for them.
But now, where is the promise to bring down the price of necessity? Where are the development promised in the five states?
At the end, I find that politics is too dirty for a small young Malaysian like me. It is sickening to see these great actors and actresses who can get nominated for Oscar for their real life acting skill.
Come on. Everyone remembers the crying scene when Tun Mahathir announced his retirement. And now, they growled, gnawed and munched on Tun's statements.
As I have replied in Tun's blog, we don't care now what has happened in the past, as Tun has bring us far more stability and development.
What we care now is petrol price is shooting skyhigh, and even rice has keep all Malaysians pocket dry.
Tell me BN and PR: WHAT ARE YOU ALL GOING TO DO TO AMEND ALL THESE?
