Back to school?

Now, how interesting my life can be as assistant marketing manager of HICT. I enjoyed spending my time, giving motivation talks to students in schools, and I really love every single moment of it. But of course, having to speak to a bunch of 200 plus students is never easy. So I have to learn to ignore, and being ignorant is something not good! hmmm....But hey, I am not gonna make my life miserable becoz of some students who didn't appreciate the advise.

This Thursday gonna be a big day for me, as I am finally going to step back into my high school, SMSSAAS, Section 2, Shah Alam, after 11 years of no-show in the compound. Will my teachers still be there? Will they still remember me? I obviously think they will not be able to recognize me. I am going to laminate the 'sajak' I wrote for all my teachers during my last year in SMSSAAS, and give it to the current headmistress.

I hope the students will be as good as my batch, which I doubt. Hahaha....Wongtc and gang are alwez da best! One big achievement: my batch has the best result in the school and district history and also the most number of students who passed SPM 'Moral' and 'Sejarah' with A. Gegegege....

Down to memory lane! I missed my high school days and frenz.

Annoying Things Do Happen in Malaysia

#1 Another infamous sodomy case.

#2 People pushing Petronas workers, not knowing that these people are not the ones responsible for the increase in petrol price. These bullies didn't even know about oil speculation, just like currency, and by not knowing, they thought they know everything.

#3 People gathering in Kelana Jaya Stadium to stage protest against petrol price hike, well....err....they protest in CARNIVAL STYLE. So it is peaceful as there are hawkers selling burgers and drinks, and artistes performing. And one of them even showed his underwear during performance. Cheapskate! Why not stage protest in front of the embassies instead?

#4 Computer breakdown at KLSE when the share market is going down down down.

#5 Malaysians are FINALLY faddup with the political war. Of course. Our economy is going down, share market also going down, then necessities price going up, and petrol going even UPPER...oops...HIGHER! So who is doing their job? BN is busy countering attacks and PR is busy attacking. At the end, the poor people like us-lah who have to do our job and make sure we stay alive-lor.

#6 Where is justice?

Funny things happen in Malaysia

#1 The Government calculated that the people didn't pay for RM0.78 increase on the petrol price after they get the reimbursement. It is some sort like about RM0.23 increase. Bu tone question: why didn't the governemtn directly use the RM625 reimbursement as subsidy, but instead get the peopl into trouble to go to the post office, queue up and fill up form for reimbursement?

#2 The Gabungan Badan NGO Malaysia Yang Menyokong Perdana Menteri is going to rally for PM on 12 July in Putrajaya, and estimated 20000 people will attend the rally and show support for PM. Why the rally? Is it approved?

#3 Kedah Menteri Besar called for a project to log Kedah and he said RM16million will be earned from the "NATURE KILLING" activity, and he felt proud of it. Someone please lecture him on saving Mother Nature.

#4 Selangor PR government is in trouble over corruption lawsuit.

#5 Singapore is a small island with very good infrastructure and public transport. Their MRT covers most parts of the island and the buses are easily accessed from every corner of the island. Now they postpone the Penang Monorail project and the island bus services are like snails on arrival and departure, and a road maniac on the journey. Ish!

#6 I support Dr M and his brain!

back from KK, down with gastric

Just came back from KK...but was on medical leave for two days due to gastric. Dunno how I got the gastric thingy, maybe due to the fact that I was alone at the education fair in KK and had no time for lunch for two days.

I have no life anymore

An increase of 78 cents on petrol all around Malaysia; from the original RM1.92 per litre to the new RM2.70 per litre, is putting all Malaysians from all walks of life jumping from their seats. I wouldn't said that it is not right to increase the petrol price and removing the subsidy, but such drastic and sudden increase will result in negative impacts towards the country economy, with the decrease of near 30 points in KLSE yesterday.

And how about the feeling and life of the people?

First we see a price increase in rice, which hiked up all food price, and now we are thrown to face such high increase in petrol price. What is the trend here? Are the government out of money to spend? Are we going bankrupt? Is there a motive or agenda behind all these? To make people feel that we cannot afford to have a change in government or leadership under such strenous time? I wouldn't want to speculate because there are so many possibilities.

But one thing for sure, a lot of people will suffer especially families that earn just enough but now have to be taken to task to cope with at least RM100-200 increase in petrol spending. And that's on petrol alone.

We all know there is going to be a superb chain reaction.

Petrol price increase = everything increase.

So we are not going to only spend more on petrol, but on daily expenses as well.
